
On November 28, 2024, Core CarbonX Solutions Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with NABARD, officially launched the Alternative Wetting and Drying (AWD) method at an inauguration meeting held at RARS Warangal. This significant event marked the beginning of a transformative journey under the Core Carbon Sustainable Rice Initiative (CCX) to revolutionize sustainable rice farming practices in Warangal district.
This initiative aims to introduce innovative water-saving techniques in rice cultivation through the AWD method, fostering agricultural sustainability and resource efficiency. The project actively engages three Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)—Hasanparthy, Nadikuda, and Nallabelli—empowering local farmers with techniques that optimize water management, reduce emissions, and enhance resilience in rice production.
