Aparti has served in the state Govt. of Agriculture Dept. from 1982 to 2017 in the capacities of Addl. District Agriculture Officer, District Agriculture Officer, Deputy Director of Agriculture, Project Director, ATMA, Project Manager, NFSM, Joint Director of Agriculture (Information), JDA (SP&C), JDA (Farm & Seed), Addl. Director of Agriculture (Extension), Director, IMAGE, M.D., Odisha State Seeds Corporations Ltd., and Retired as Joint Director of Agriculture (Information) in January 2017. He has served as State Program Advisor in ICARDA from 5/2017 to 6/2020 and as a State Consultant in AFC India Ltd & OSVSWA FROM 7/2020 to 3/2022. Presently he is working as State Lead – Odisha in CoreCarbonX Solution Pvt Ltd.
