Industries emit 30% of domestic GHGs. Industrial decarbonization, including converting to low-or zero-carbon energy systems or adopting carbon offset strategies, is important in meeting the net-zero carbon emissions goal by 2050. Future energy sustainability demands energy, business, and government collaboration.
ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India), in collaboration with the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), the Government of Odisha has organized “The Industrial Decarbonization Summit 2022 – A Roadmap to Net Zero 2030″ on September 30th, 2022, at the Hotel Hindustan International (HHI), Bhubaneswar.
CoreCarbonX was a supporting partner in this event. Niroj Mohanty, MD, and CEO, of CoreCarbonX, spoke and shared his views on industry best practices for offsetting and reducing carbon emissions for the industrial sector.
