Dr. Uma Ramachandran is a Doctorate in Ecology and Environmental Sciences with more than 30 years of post-doctoral experience in diverse areas. She has done Extensive Field Research, Teaching, Training, Impact Assessments, Monitoring & Evaluation for policy-making and also has strong networks and collaboration with Central and State Government Institutions, Bilateral and International, as well as Educational Institutions. The major sectors covered by her are – Water, agriculture, forest, and biodiversity with cross-cutting themes such as gender, livelihoods, waste management, etc.
